16 Days of Activism Breakfast - ADD YOUR VOICE!

The Zonta Club of Bundaberg Inc is a not-for-profit incorporated association which has been supporting local domestic and family violence services and campaigning against gender-based violence for over thirty-one years.

Funds raised from the breakfast will be donated to both the Small Steps 4 Hannah Foundation as well as local Bundaberg domestic and family violence education programs.

What is the 16 Days of Activism Campaign?

The Days between 25 November, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women and the 10 December, Human Rights Day, are known as the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence Campaign, a time to galvanize action to end violence against women and girls around the world.

This is an annual United Nations Women’s campaign which is supported by Zonta Clubs throughout the world. Here in Bundaberg, the Zonta Club of Bundaberg Inc will be hosting a breakfast at Rowers on the River Restaurant and Function Centre on Saturday 20 November 2021.

The guest speaker is Ms Laura Bos, a Director of the Small Steps 4 Hannah Foundation.
