Zonta Club of Hervey Bay - International Women's Day Breakfast 2025

The Zonta Club of Hervey Bay invites you to our 2025 International Women's Day Breakfast on Saturday, 8th March at the Hervey Bay Boat Club. 

Themed "It's time to turn promises into action. March Forward," this year's IWD Breakfast features Leslie Single, former President of the Queensland Association of State School Principals from 2018 to 2021, a retired educator of 45 years and currently a member of the Board of Trustees for the Rockhampton Girls Grammar School. 

Leslie will talk about her journey as a girl and woman from a bush background to president of the largest principal association in Queensland. In a talk entitled "Oh the Places I Went," she will share with us the challenges and opportunities she encountered along the way, which should serve as an inspiration on how we could move forward toward our pursuit of achieving gender equality and women’s empowerment.
