GUEST SPEAKER: Michelle Blakeley- Architect/Founder "My home" Project
Michelle is an architect, businesswoman and Founder of the "my Home" Project which seeks to provide housing for people who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless.
The first “My Home” housing project is about to be completed in North Fremantle and will have 18 homes for older women who are homeless. To enable this project to come to fruition, Michelle has lead a team of people from government, construction and community organisations, including Zonta, who have contributed to creating these beautiful homes. The North Fremantle project is the first of many “My Home” sites to be developed across Perth and in regional areas.
The Perth Foundation for Women Ltd is the new charity arm of the Zonta Club of Perth.
