The Zonta Club of Rockhampton Inc will hold its annual IWD breakfast event at the Rocky Sports Club on Friday 8 March to celebrate women's achievements in the Central Queensland community and to raise awareness of our mission to "build a better world for women and girls".
Our guest speaker, Alexandra Hindle, has demonstrated resilience while living abroad in a patriarchal society and, on her return home, has achieved in our highly competitive world.
The program will include the presentation of our Young Women in Public Affairs Award and Living Treasure Award.
Raffles will be conducted with the proceeds supporting the club's educational awards and projects that support women in need in the community.
