Join us this month at ChangeLine (601 N Nevada Ave, Colorado Springs, CO 80903). Dinner will be provided!
Our speaker, Liz Groothof Croddy, will speak about the intersection between climate concerns and violence against women and girls. We'll also hear about Zonta International's Climate Empower initiative, working in Madagascar, Mozambique and South Sudan, some of the countries most vulnerable to climate change globally.
Liz is a member of Zonta Pikes Peak, as well as a founding member of Zonta District 12's AEGE (Action for the Environment and Gender Equality) Committee, part of Zonta International's #ZontaSaysNOW! movement.
Please bring items for us to take to District in September:
Tampons 18-36 count. Panty Liners 20-48 count. Pads 14-36 count.
Small quantity boxes only. No combo packages, and all donations must be in unopened packages. Please do not buy in bulk. Or bring a gift cards where items may be purchased (e.g. Walmart, Target, King Soopers, etc.).
Parking Info: there is free parking in the lot or on the side streets.
Please enter through the front door (door facing Nevada)
When you get inside the vestibule, you will walk directly through the front doors and enter the large meeting space, Collaboration A and B.
