Zonta Club of Wynnum Redland Inc is excited and proud to invite you to Dinner with Mary Li, our Guest Speaker, to celebrate International Women’s Day on March 9, 2023.
As many of you will know, Mary is the Ballet Mistress at Queensland Ballet where her husband Li is Artistic Director. Together they have turned the company into one of worldwide recognition and acclaim.
During her performing career, Mary danced principal roles in all the major classical ballets, including Swan Lake, The Sleeping Beauty, Giselle, Romeo and Juliet and The Nutcracker, as well as leading roles in contemporary ballets
Please join us to hear from Mary with her amazing journey in the world of Ballet.
International Womens’ Day has been honoured for more than 100 years and recognised by the United Nations in 1975. The intent of the IWD is twofold i.e. to celebrate achievements so far and as a reminder that we have a long journey ahead to achieve the goals of gender equity and elimination of gender-based violence for women throughout our world. We all must play a part in this journey and your support is invaluable.
