Event description

Join fellow female anglers at Lake Borumba for a day on the water!

Reel in the biggest catch, and you'll be crowned the inaugural winner of the Emellia McAuliffe Memorial Cup. This special award honours Emellia , a passionate angler who loved seeing women embrace the sport she loved.

The day will begin with educational sessions from sponsors and local women, offering valuable tips and insights to boost your confidence before participants head out on the water.

Lunch will be included in the competition entry and will be provided by the local Lions Club and is included in the entry of the competition.

The event will conclude at 4:00 PM, followed by presentations at Deer Park. Guests who have purchased the bundle ticket, including the Lake to Plate experience with Matt Golinski are invited to settle in and enjoy the occasion. Ticket holders for the ‘Ladies Anglers Classic’ event are welcome to attend the presentations.

We encourage young women to complete. Please note, anyone under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Please ensure you provide if you require an access to a boat or if you will be providing your own boat for the day in the checkout questions. There are a limited number of Kayaks available if Kayak fishing is preferred. Land finishing is also available. Life Jackets must be warn at all times whilst on the water. Male skippers are welcome.

We encourage participants to secure their accomodation at the Deer Park or in the area as soon as possible. Limited spaces are available.
