This June at Hakaru Hall, The Mangawhai Players Theatre Group brings Shakespeare’s beloved comedy to life through theatre, dance, and live music in a unique community production that celebrates imagination, transformation, and connection.
Featuring performers aged 10 through to adulthood, this special retelling blends the timeless beauty of Shakespeare’s language with expressive movement and an original live musical experience. Directed by Susan Dugdale and Jenny Sharp, with music production led by Gabrielle Crowe, the production showcases the creativity and talent of our local community.

The road from Auckland into Mangawhai (Cames Rd to Coal Hill Rd) will be closed, so allow extra time.
When you arrive, please have your tickets available on your phone or on paper so we can scan everyone in quickly.
There will be a small number of reserved seats, so please do not use them. If you have any seating problems, just let the team at the hall entrance know.
