Cynthia Erivo stars as Elphaba, a misunderstood young woman with green skin who has yet to discover her true power, and Ariana Grande as Glinda, a privileged young woman who ultimately finds her true heart. The two meet at Shiz University, where their unlikely friendship begins. However, a fateful encounter with the Wizard of Oz forces their paths to diverge, setting the stage for Elphaba’s transformation into the Wicked Witch of the West and Glinda’s rise as Glinda the Good.
