2024 End-of-Year Artist Party
Event description
Hey creatives 👋
All workplaces celebrate their achievements with an end-of-year party! Being an artist means you're mostly working by yourself and don't often have the opportunity to celebrate reaching the end of the year along with your peers and work besties.
This is why Outloud does an 𝑬𝒏𝒅-𝒐𝒇-𝒀𝒆𝒂𝒓 𝑷𝒂𝒓𝒕𝒚 as the last Emerging Artist Workshop of the year.
Come for a night of learning, food, creativity, and networking as we celebrate everything you did in 2024 with other like-minded artists. (We know you have done some cool things that are worth celebrating!).
This event is a FREE event and includes:
- An artist panel with experienced artists (TBC) on how you can Turn Your Arts Practice into a Business
- A photo station where you can snap a headshot for your portfolio (or take a silly photo!)
- An opportunity to be creative with friendship bracelet-making
- Create cool designs you can wear with badge-making
- Rock the open mic to showcase what you worked on this year in your practice (sign up on the night)
- Eat delicious food (Vegan + Halal options!)
Don't miss the chance to mingle with like-minded creatives and showcase your talents. Artists and Arts Workers from all disciplines are welcome!
Our 𝙀𝙣𝙙-𝙤𝙛-𝙔𝙚𝙖𝙧 𝘼𝙧𝙩𝙞𝙨𝙩 𝙋𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙮 will be at the RS1 space in the Bankstown Arts Centre, Darug land from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm.
We offer workshops for free to ensure everyone can take part. If you feel you will get value out of this and can afford to, please consider making a tax-deductible donation.
Outloud's Emerging Artist Workshops are made possible with the generous support of the Waratah Education Public Ancillary Fund, the Scanlon Foundation, and the City of Canterbury Bankstown. Thank you to these kind folks!
