ABOUT YOUR TUTOR

Kirrily is an artist working across basketry and textiles and has delivered award-winning creative workshops since 2018. She promotes the role of art in wellbeing, envisaging a world where people are grounded in themselves, deeply connected, and kind to each other. She has studied textiles at The Australian National University and learnt basketmaking from skilled non-Indigenous and First Nations practitioners. The techniques she shares are either from her own ancestral traditions (the British Isles), practiced commonly throughout the world, or passed on with permission from her teachers.
