2026 Agriculture Education (AgED) symposium

The Australian Council of Deans of Agriculture, La Trobe University and University of Melbourne are excited to host AgEd26, the 4th Symposium for Agricultural Educators. The symposium will take place at the Agribio building on La Trobe's Bundoora campus on 3-4 February 2026. AgEd 26 will again bring together the agricultural academic community at Australian tertiary and VET institutions to one location for two days of presentations and networking as well as an Awards Dinner.
The symposium will also be supported by the La Trobe Institute for Sustainable Agriculture and Food (LISAF).

Cost: $320 (standard registration) $250 student registration + GST
Registration and accommodation:
Registration is $320 per person ($250 for students; + GST) including two days of morning tea - lunch - afternoon tea and the conference awards dinner on Tuesday 3rd February.
On campus accommodation is available at $100 per night, including breakfast, please email conference organizer marisa.collins@latrobe.edu.au for booking details.

Please note: You will require two nights’ accommodation (Check-in: Monday 2nd February – Check-out: Wednesday 4th February) in order to participate in the full conference schedule. The registration tickets include the conference dinner on the Tuesday night.

All abstracts submitted must adhere to the format within the style guidelines. Please use the link to download the template and keep the original formatting style to ensure consistency.
Abstracts should be a maximum of one page in length and submitted in MS Word. Do not submit as a pdf file.
Do not use EndNote for referencing as we may not be able to format your abstract for the proceedings if EndNote is used. If using EndNote or other bibliographic software, remove edit codes prior to submission.
