2026 Parade of Fools

Looking for a wacky, whimsical, and creative alternative to your traditional holiday routine? Put on your silliest outfit, grab your friends, family, and neighbors and join us at Webster Street Park for the Parade of Fools!

You can…

• Make a trash-art tutu

• Learn silly skills like hula hooping and juggling

• Play the tin can in the sidewalk parade

• Strut your stuff in the funny walk and costume contest

Join the fools in costumed finery! …or just come to watch and cheer them on!

FUNdraiser

All of this foolish fun is for a good cause - supporting the West End Arts District - the small but mighty arts organization that energizes the West End of Alameda with amazing events that are open for all. Let’s see how much FUN a fundraiser can be!!!

Pay-what-you-will tickets available on our slip-n-sliding scale. Advance ticket holders will receive a special badge of appreciation!

(But we love you free-spirited last-minute party crashers, too.)
