National Reconciliation Week (NRW) is a time for all Australians to learn about our shared histories, cultures, and achievements, and to explore how each of us can contribute to achieving reconciliation in Australia.
The National Reconciliation Week (NRW) 2026 theme All In, is a call for all Australians to commit wholeheartedly to reconciliation every single day.
All In makes clear that reconciliation is not a spectator sport and that all of us must step away from the sidelines and take action to make change.
The theme also reminds us that reconciliation and advancing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ rights isn’t a passive activity, and it is not solely the responsibility of First Nations people, who have carried the weight of championing, explaining and acting for far too long.
Reconciliation will not happen by itself, and it will not happen without all of us.
Each year Reconciliation SA hosts the Annual National Reconciliation Week (NRW) Breakfast to launch the week in South Australia. You are invited to purchase a ticket or table and join us in hearing how you and your community/organisation can bring this year's theme to life. This year's program boasts an impressive array of performances and speakers.

This year, the First Nations Marketplace returns, displaying works for sale across different art mediums in our Exhibition Foyer. We'd like to thank The Circle – First Nations Entrepreneur Hub for collaborating with us on the organisation of this part of our program.

Please arrive between 6.15 -6.30AM to participate in a Smoking Ceremony on the North Terrace Plaza and to be seated by 6.45AM for a 7AM sharp commencement. To avoid disruptions, late arrivals will not be granted entry until after the Welcome To Country concludes.

ATTENDEE INFORMATION & DIETARY REQUIREMENTS
To ensure all attendee dietary requirements are met, you will be asked to enter names and any dietary requirements via Humanitix.
If you do not have this information at the time of booking your tickets, you will have an opportunity to do so via an automated link via Humanitix sent to all attendees closer to the event - or you can select Edit Order in your booking confirmation email to update your details.
Please make sure that you are receiving Humanitix emails in your primary inbox, not your spam folder.
Please note that only the purchaser of the tickets can edit the order, so if you are seated on a table of 10 and you did not purchase your tickets directly – please notify the person who made the booking so they can update your preferences.
The deadline to receive all dietary and attendee information through Humanitix is 5pm Tuesday 19 May 2026.
All attendee information will be provided to the Adelaide Convention Centre on this date and cannot be changed once this is done. If the details of one of the attendees on your table changes after this date, please do not ask us to update this information as it is past the deadline.
Please do not send any attendee information directly to us via email, as it will not be recorded. It can only be done through your booking on Humanitix. This year we are enforcing the need to collect all of your attendee's email addresses via your Humanitix booking so that we can ensure all attendees are receiving vital information in the lead up to the event, including their table number.
We understand that you may not have confirmed all the attendees at the time of making your booking. As mentioned above, you have the opportunity to add this information later and we ask that you are diligent about this to ensure a smooth experience for all guests.

EVENT FAQ'S
I am booking a table, but I won’t have all the names and dietary requirements for each guest right away. Can I add this information at a later date?
Your deadline to add ALL dietary requirements and names for your table is 5pm Tuesday 19 May 2026.
In May, you will receive an automated email via our ticketing platform Humanitix with a link to follow to add all your final dietary requirements if you are not able to include them at the time of booking your table. Or you can go into your original booking confirmation email any time before the cut off date to update attendee information by clicking the link 'Manage Order' and then 'Edit'.
Are there any complimentary tickets available?
If you identify as an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person and are unable to purchase a ticket, you may be eligible for a complimentary ticket, through the generosity of our Community Table sponsors. Please follow this link and scroll to the bottom of the page to join the Community Ticket Registrar. We are unable to guarantee a free ticket for everyone who expresses their interest in attending as our free ticket allocation is limited, however we do our best, based on the amount of free tickets we have available through our sponsors.
What do I do if I miss out on a ticket?
You are able to join the waitlist via Humanitix. Simply head to Humanitix and search our event, select 'Get Tickets' and then 'Join Waitlist'. For any tickets that may become available, they will be offered to those who are first on the list. If you would like to know where you are placed within the waiting list, please email events@reconciliationsa.org.au

Lineup
Shelly Ware
Shelley Ware is a proud Wirangu and Yankunytjatjara woman whose work sits at the intersection of community, education, storytelling and sport. A teacher with more than 25 years’ experience, Shelley has dedicated her career to creating safer, more inclusive spaces by embedding Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories, cultures and perspectives into classrooms, organisations and public conversations. Her work is grounded in community, accountability and truth telling, with a strong focus on listening first and working alongside people rather than speaking for them. Shelley is a respected voice across television and sports media, with a career also spanning over 25 years, where she brings cultural insight, clarity and care to national conversations. She is also a sought-after MC, known for her ability to hold space, connect audiences and honour the significance of moments, whether in community settings, major sporting events or corporate and government forums. Across all her work, Shelley is driven by a commitment to integrity, respect and the belief that genuine change begins with relationships
Eddie Betts
Eddie Betts Eddie Betts is a former Australian Rules footballer renowned for his exceptional on-field skills and significant contributions to Aboriginal communities across Australia. Eddie's football journey began at a young age when his extraordinary talent quickly became apparent. In 2005, he made his professional debut in the Australian Football League (AFL) at the Carlton Football Club. In 2014, he joined the Adelaide Football Club. Beyond his football achievements, Eddie uses his platform to raise awareness about social issues affecting Aboriginal people, advocating for equality, reconciliation, and empowerment. His strong connection to his cultural heritage and dedication have earned him respect and trust within Aboriginal communities. Most notably, Eddie founded the Eddie Betts Foundation in 2023 with partner Anna Scullie, a natural evolution of more than a decade of community work in football, youth development, and education.
Casey Donovan
Casey Donovan is one of Australia’s most powerful and beloved voices. Rising to fame at just 16 as the youngest winner of Australian Idol (2004), the proud Gumbaynggirr and Dunghutti woman has built a remarkable career across music, stage, screen, presenting and writing. A multi-award-winning artist, Casey’s achievements include an ARIA No.1 single, triple-platinum success for Listen With Your Heart, and Deadly Awards. Her music career has seen continued evolution, from the empowering Big, Beautiful & Sexy to her acclaimed EP Off the Grid and Somewhere In Between and her 2025 acoustic release 21 Years Retrospective in addition to the Eurovision entry song Proud. A fan favourite, she has performed at major festivals, toured nationally, and become a mainstay New Year’s Eve powerhouse at the Sydney Opera House.
Nathan May
Nathan May is an Australian artist and a proud Arabana, Yawuru, and Marridjabin man. He began developing his musical talent at age three, playing drums at church in Darwin. In 2012, he moved to Adelaide to study at the Centre for Aboriginal Studies in Music (CASM) at the Elder Conservatorium, completing an Advanced Diploma in Aboriginal Music and in Popular Music. He has toured nationally and internationally, including a European tour with the Pierce Brothers, and represented his culture at the Festival of Pacific Arts & Culture in Hawai’i. His 2024 release “Gonna Meet That Man Someday,” about his meeting with Barack Obama, was co-written with Gillard and Buchanan. In 2025, he was awarded Emerging Songwriter in the Vanda & Young Global Song Competition.
