Event description

Our 3-day Advanced Timber Framing Workshops are aimed at people having completed our introductory workshop/s or who already have a level of traditional timber framing experience. In the 3 days of this course, we take a deeper look into complicated roofing elements, detailed joinery design and construction, engineering fundamentals as well as expanding on the scribing methods and principles used both historically and currently both here in Australia and abroad.  We also look at the complexities and challenges of running a business based on craftsmanship in Australia.  

The practical component of our 3-day Advanced Timber Framing workshop involves the construction of a detailed roof structure with the completion of day 3 involving the final assembly of the structure.  

Price: $1800 inc GST – Lunch and Morning Tea provided daily
