A Cup of History
Event description
Get a rare view inside our collection with Kim Totten, Heurich House Museum’s Collections Manager, when we open the shutters in the historic rooms on Thursday, November 7th from 10:00 - 11:30 am at A Cup of History.
Kim will select and discuss rarely seen items from the collection and tour select rooms with a small group of visitors over a cup of coffee or tea! Visitors are encouraged to ask questions and reflect upon objects in their own homes to find a connection to the historic house!
The Heurich Mansion is a witness to 130 years of history. Walking through the house, you’re transported back in time, each room a testament to the lives led and the impact different people have had on the property. At A Cup of History we’ll open the windows on the 1st floor of the historic house, letting in the light and giving you a peek outside into modern day Dupont, altering this portal to the past and reflecting on the passage of time.
