Hi there! Thank you for your booking. Here's a few things you might like to know:

- Steve is on 0423 793887 or Frances on 0419 004762. Might be a good idea to have that number on your phone on the day.

- Boyd Community Hub is at 207 City Road, Southbank. It's about 1km walk from Flinders St station, and very near the City Rd/Kings Way tram stop on the 58 route. and the City Rd/Queens Bridge St tram stop on the 234 and 236 routes.

- There's free parking nearby on Sunday. Check the signs!

- We'll start at 10am. Please get there in good time to get settled.

- There are cafes nearby, but it's not the busiest of places on a Sunday so you may wish to bring your own lunch. There is a microwave.

- At the end of the day, about 4.30pm or so, if you'd care to join us we'll head to The Bells Hotel, 157 Moray St (about 600m away).

- Bring your own pen and notepad if you need one, as well as a copy of Dubliners (not necessary but a good idea). Here is a link to the Project Gutenberg online version: www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/2814.

- We're looking at the book as a whole, and concentrating on two particular stories: 'The Boarding House' and 'The Dead.' Here is a link to the text of both stories, along with a short introduction to the book: https://bit.ly/dubliners_bday. Since there are many different editions of the book, when we refer to specific passages this will be the document and pagination we'll refer to. So you may find it handy to have it on a device or even printed out. But we'll also show the passages on the projector, so don't worry too much about it.
