From initial idea to getting the final shot in the can, this workshop breaks down Derrick’s film-making journey for his latest, a television pilot called Shadow of the Deathbird. The workshop will cover story development, budgeting, funding options, casting, gearing, and crewing up. Deathbird will also be screened at the workshop. Shadow of the Deathbird : Set in the late 1980s, Shadow of the Deathbird centres around a child filmmaker who is haunted by a supernatural creature hell-bent on destroying her masterpiece.
