A Plant Lover's Dream at the Tennessee Aquarium

Visit Chattanooga has a fantastic lineup of tours available to WITS attendees. These day tours are only for attendees with a confirmed ticket in their name to WITS 2026.

The Tennessee Aquarium maintains a myriad of live plants inside its two buildings and outside on the Aquarium Plaza. The River Journey building has an emphasis on native plant species, while Ocean Journey on exotic plants. This experience will feature a tour of some of the indoor plant life by one of the Aquarium’s horticulturists before opening, with you getting your hands dirty and putting in a little work with watering or sweeping to make sure the plants are in tip-top shape before guests enter the building. Tickets will be provided to visit the Aquarium afterwards as a regular guest.

Cancellations
• If you can no longer attend, you must cancel using the link in your confirmation email by May 19, 2026
• Late cancellations after this date will incur a $50 USD fee per tour
