Join us for a new workshop designed for arts nonprofit administrators and board members who want to build confidence in understanding and managing their organization’s finances. Participants will learn the core principles of nonprofit accounting, including how to read key financial statements, create mission-aligned budgets, and understand fund restrictions. Whether you're new to financial oversight or simply looking for a refresher, this workshop will provide accessible tools to help you make informed decisions, communicate with funders, and support your organization’s sustainability.

Abigail Campbell, CPA

Senior Manager

Abigail Campbell, CPA, is a Senior Manager in the LBMC Tax practice. Abigail specializes in not-for-profit tax and consulting. She has over 10 years of experience in public accounting and has worked with individuals and for-profit businesses, in addition to not-for-profits. Abigail has provided training sessions for Chambers of Commerce, arts organizations, and boards of directors. She also worked as the Finance and Contracts Manager for a North Carolina-based organization as well as with other regional public accounting firms prior to joining LBMC. She holds her Master of Library & Information Science degree from The University of Tennessee, Chattanooga and Bachelor of Arts from the University of North Carolina, Greensboro.

Drew McCullough, CPA

Audit Senior Manager

Drew McCullough, CPA, has over 13 years of diversified experience in a variety of industries including franchisor companies, employee benefit plans, not-for-profit organizations, and real estate businesses but primarily focuses on service and manufacturing companies. In addition to assisting clients with attest and financial statement services, Drew works with clients in connection with new accounting standard implementation, internal control analysis, and technical issues. As an auditor at public accounting firms in Little Rock, Arkansas, and Brentwood, Tennessee, Drew has worked with both owner-managed and private equity-backed private companies. The audit work Drew has participated in over the course of his career includes a number of engagements related to mergers and acquisitions, including opening balance sheet audits, working capital target reporting, and due diligence assistance.

Chad Milom, CPA

Audit & Advisory Shareholder

Chad Milom, CPA, is a Shareholder in the LBMC Audit and Advisory practice. With over 20 years of public accounting experience, he is LBMC’s not-for-profit segment leader and currently serves both privately-held and equity-backed middle-market organizations in industries such as education, healthcare, technology and manufacturing and distribution. His previous experience as an auditor for a top-4 accounting firm and serving as the controller of a construction company have helped to create an exceptional and well-rounded knowledge base, allowing Chad to bring best practices in accounting and internal control consulting to his clients. His not-for-profit experience includes serving independent private schools, private colleges and universities, associations, religious organizations, health and welfare organizations, and required audits for federal funded programs (under A-133). In addition, Chad works with not-for-profit organizations, including associations, independent private schools, religious and charitable organizations and higher education clients, and serves on the board and finance committee for a local not-for-profit organization, and is a member of the AICPA, TSCPA and Leadership Healthcare. Chad also works with for-profit entities in industries such as technology, publishing, manufacturing and employee benefit plans on revenue recognition, software development, stock-based compensation, complex equity arrangements, and employee benefit plan compliance.

Emily Parsley, CPA

Tax Senior Accountant

Emily Parsley, CPA, is a Tax Senior Accountant at LBMC, where she focuses on serving nonprofit clients with their unique tax and compliance needs. She joined LBMC in January 2025, bringing a diverse background in both education and public accounting. Emily earned dual bachelor's degrees in Accounting and Economics from the University of Kentucky. Before joining LBMC, she taught in Metro Nashville Public Schools through Teach for America and spent five years in audit at Deloitte, gaining valuable experience across a range of industries. Her multidisciplinary background and commitment to service make her a trusted advisor to mission-driven organizations.

Brian Tate, CPA

Audit Shareholder

LBMC

Brian Tate, CPA, is an Audit Shareholder with LBMC’s Healthcare Services group.  He has over 25 years of public accounting experience and has spent the last 13 years serving the healthcare industry. Brian serves as the client service shareholder or technical consulting shareholder on a number of healthcare engagements, both for-profit and not-for-profit, including hospitals and health systems, long-term care, hospice/palliative care, behavioral health and HUD/OMB Uniform Guidance engagements.  Brian receives specific continuing education directly related to the healthcare industry as well as not-for-profit and Uniform Guidance topics. He is actively involved in the Leadership Health Care and Nashville Health Care Council organizations and currently chairs the TSCPA Healthcare Conference Task Force. Brian co-authored the Knowledge Based Audits of Health Care Entities, which is published by CCH, with other LEA firms. Brian’s prior work experience includes employment at a Nashville regional firm as well as a national public accounting firm. He serves as Board Chair of the LBMC Cares Foundation.
