Workshop Plan
Young Chefs Team – 8:30 AM Start
· Learn to distribute even heat on a charcoal fire
· Participate in flipping the asador lamb (2–3 hours into cooking)
· Bast and turn the BBQ chickens cooking over the coals
· Learn the art of baking in rock salt, prepare and cook the salt-baked barramundi
· Roast vegetables over the coals
· Make authentic sauces for the BBQ

ACFSQ Team – 10:00 AM Start
While the young chefs cook the lamb, chickens, and barramundi, the ACFSQ team will:
· Set up the buffet area, drinks, and shade zones.
· Prepare salads, fruit platters, and cheese selections.

Team Photos – 11:30 AM
· Group photos of ACFSQ Young Chefs and Butchers.

Buffet Preparation – 12:30 PM
· ACFSQ chefs to set up the buffet.
· Capture photos of young chefs carving the lamb and cracking the salt-baked fish.
Notes
· To participate in this workshop, you must be a registered ACFSQ member.
· Please arrive promptly for your allocated start time.
· Participants must wear full chefs uniform, (protective shoes, chef jacket, apron).
· Bring chef knives and appropriate kitchen attire
· Team photos will be taken before luncheon service.
