ACROYOGA WORKSHOP - COME & TRY
Acroyoga is a fun & playful partner practice that involves one person supporting (base) another persons weight (flyer) in fun poses and flows. We are teaching a beginners flow for all capabilities.

Afterwards join us at the drum circle till dark for an Acroyoga jam & dance 😄💃🤸♀️

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Do you need to have done acro yoga or yoga?
No - the poses and flows taught will be a beginner level, you do not need to know anything about yoga and we will be teaching in a progressive manner for all abilities.
Do you need a partner?
No - we will partner you up. You are also welcome to come with a friend to share the course with.
Do you need to be flexible/ strong?
No - our workshops will be accessible to all. Practising will naturally increase your strength and flexibility. A regular physical practice will often make learning quicker, but we have progressions for all capabilities. You will most likely surprise yourself with what you can do!
What do I need to bring?
A water bottle, yoga mat or towel, wear pants you can move easily in & your smile!

ABOUT THE TEACHERS
Monique
Monique fell into a healing journey led by movement. She has explored many movement arts including surfing, contact improv dance, capoeira, calisthenics, aerials and has competed at a state level in olympic weight lifting. in 2019 she found the world of circus with her main passion being hand balance and acro, which led her to share this joy with others through teaching acro yoga. Monique is also a performing fire dancer across festivals on the east coast of Australia for the past three years. She has a professional background as a registered nurse, where she worked in dialysis for over 7 years. She is currently a zenthai shiatsu therapist in Byron Bay.

Loli
Driven by her passion for practising and sharing, Loli is an Psychological, acroyoga & Yoga instructor who comes from Argentina, the land of mate and community . She loves the special way that people share, communicate and heal when they play acro yoga. She's been travelling around the world for more than four years sharing her love for acro. She truly believes that acroyoga is the perfect recipe to wake up your inner child and enjoy the game of life. She focuses her training and teaching on the playfulness and joy of the practice.
