Event description

Acu Yin is a unique practice that skilfully combines the potency of Acupressure with Yin Yoga.

Acupoints of the body are concentrated points of high energy (Qi) flow on specific pathways called meridians. Applying pressure to these points can have a profound affect on our physical health, emotional state and spiritual wellbeing.

During this 2 hour masterclass with Christine, learn how to locate common Acupoints while holding passive Yin Yoga poses. We will focus on targeting specific areas of the body corresponding with the sinew channels; which are the connective tissue pathways that mirror the 12 primary meridians. The blend of these two modalities provides an effective release of held tension, enhanced energy flow and deep relaxation.

A handout will be included for you to take home and continue to use these methods.

No prior experience in yoga is required. Beginners are welcome.

What to Bring:

  • Yoga mat

  • Bottle of water

  • Please silence mobile phone prior to entering studio

  • Avoid eating 2 hours prior to workshop
