ADELAIDE: Practice-Based Coaching Workshop
Description
As a follow up from the consultations that supported the development of the National Best Practice Framework for Early Childhood Intervention, PRECI is responding to requests for implementation support.
This workshop is Part 3 of a 3 part face to face opportunity.
17th August - Part 1: free workshop on implementation of the Framework (morning)
17th August - Part 2: free consultation on professional standards (afternoon)
18th August - Part 3: Full day Practice-Based Coaching workshop for ECI and ECE professionals
Separate registration is required for all events.
Practice-Based Coaching is an empirically-based coaching framework designed to support practitioners' and/or caregivers' implementation of evidence-based or recommended practices that lead to positive outcomes for children, and their families.
The objectives of this workshop are:
•To consolidate understanding of the 5 essential components of coaching
•To increase knowledge, skills and confidence in utilising coaching as the primary adult learning strategy when working with parents/carers and other adults
•To understand the importance of coaching to fidelity
•To develop a personal action plan for continued coaching development
•To introduce the Torsch Coaching Platform
