Adult Acting Foundations Course

Ages: 18 +  

It’s never too late to step into the spotlight. Build your acting skills, boost confidence, and explore the art of storytelling in this six-week program, culminating in a showcase evening.

Before there is a page with script there is imagination and a character navigating their way through life. This inspiring acting course starts with the source of all acting the impulse to explore an imaginary world. Like any muscle this wellspring for actors needs to be exercised and developed. Make new friends, find new depths to human connection and allow yourself to play again in our safe studio space.   Work with a  professional theatre professional director to hone your acting skills.

Open to all actors aged 18 to infinity

Professional theatre director, Dr Sharon Hogan,  has taught acting in universities here in Australian and internationally. Sharon brings her authentic and playful approach to classes, and quickly builds a supportive and safe learning space with new groups. Based on her core belief that everyone can act, extensive experience and research in drama education, Sharon focuses on building confidence and empowering actors.
