Adult Story Time - A guided restorative rest for busy adults
Description
An hour and a half set aside on a Friday afternoon to step from the busyness of life into the simplicity of being. Gentle movement, fascia release and easy breathwork prepare us to listen to a story read aloud by Anna, before we got into deep restorative rest through Yoga Nidra practice, a journey to the edge of sleep while staying aware.
Return to your body, breath and mind, restore your energy, and walk into your Friday evening feeling a little more rested, a little more present and a little more reacquainted with yourself.
No experience needed just the intention to rest in this wonderfully preserved pocket of nature in the heart of St Kilda. Enjoy a stroll in the St Kilda Botanical gardens after the event before returning to your evening plans.
Wear comfortable clothes and socks, water bottle, and bring a mat or rug to lie on, plus a hand towel and a pillow if you wish.
