Event description

Advanced Project Management

Are you ready to take the lead and manage successful projects? Join us for a two-day deep dive course designed to help you run large or complex projects. Participants should already be working in Project Management and looking to increase their skills to take a lead project role in the future.

This course will focus on larger and more complex projects, providing greater coverage of the risks, stakeholder engagement and planning for experienced project managers.

To get the most out of this this two-day workshop, you need to bring a project idea along. Together we will identify your stakeholders, set the parameters and develop project and risk management plans, setting up your project for delivery. Think about something you want to build, an event, communication that you want to deliver or a research project that you are interested in. It can be a work, home or community project.

Course Outcomes:

  • Identify the key quality indicators that will make a successful workplace-based project,
  • Scope the work-based project including project parameters and project stakeholders,
  • Develop a draft project plan and review this,
  • Examine the risks that might affect the project and develop a risk management plan,
  • Develop a management and leadership plan including communication with project team members and other stakeholders
  • Report on project outcomes and carry out a “lessons learned meeting” to review and make recommendations for future projects.

  • Target Audience:

  • Team Leaders / Managers,
  • Project Managers,
  • Engineers,
  • Not for Profit Directors.

Don't miss your chance to undertake this two-day program in the Limestone Coast for the low cost of $169.00 per person.

If you are experiencing financial hardship that hinders your participation, please don’t hesitate to contact Mary Irwin at info@rdalc.org.au, to discuss support options.

This initiative is subsidised through the Limestone Coast Leadership Program, delivered by RDALC and funded by Primary Industries and Regions, South Australia.
