Introduction to Project Management

Are you ready to master the essential steps and processes for running successful projects? Join us for an engaging one-day course designed to equip you with the tools and knowledge to effectively start, manage, and complete work and community projects.

This course lays a solid foundation for engineers, emerging leaders, and project coordinators, empowering you to plan and execute projects with confidence. Explore key strategies for efficient project delivery, ensuring you meet deadlines and stay within budget—all while prioritising safety and effective risk management. Whether you're new to project management or looking to enhance your skills, this course provides you with the foundational skills and confidence you need to succeed.

Course Outcomes:

  • Manage a workplace project including communication with project team members
  • Scope a work-based project including project parameters and project stakeholders
  • Develop a project plan and draft a risk management plan for a work-based project
  • Finalise and review a workplace project

Target Audience:

  • Community and sporting club office-bearers,
  • Project or government administrators,
  • Team leaders,
  • Graduates,
  • Asset owners.

This course is primarily offered in capital cities for $1,200 per person, so don't miss your unique opportunity to attend locally with two sessions in the Limestone Coast for the low cost of $99.00 per person.

If you’re attending to develop skills to support a community group you volunteer with, or you are experiencing financial hardship that hinders your participation, please don’t hesitate to contact Mary Irwin at info@rdalc.org.au, to discuss support options.

This initiative is subsidised through the Limestone Coast Leadership Program, delivered by RDALC and funded by Primary Industries and Regions, South Australia.
