Event description
Regional Development Australia Limestone Coast, in partnership with Be Well Co, are hosting two Wellbeing Seminars: on Tuesday 26Â November in Mount Gambier and on Wednesday 27Â November in Bordertown.
The seminars offer practical wellbeing activities and insights into mental health, and the new psychosocial risk regulations. Participants will engage in reflective activities and practical exercises.
Both seminars will include light refreshments, a participant workbook and access to the Be Well Tracker.
Seminar 1:Â Wellbeing Habits for Small Business Staff |Â 9:00 am - 10:00 amÂ
This 60-minute workshop is for anyone working in small business. Drawing on the latest research, you will walk away with a range of practical and engaging wellbeing activities that you can use.
Learning Outcomes:
- Learn the personal and professional advantages of prioritising mental health.
- Explore your personal wellbeing drivers.
- Discover why it is relevant for you to safeguard your wellbeing.
- Learn and practice wellbeing activities while reflecting on your own personal sources of meaning and purpose.
Seminar 2: Workplace Wellbeing for Small Businesses Leaders | 10:30 am - 12:00 pm
This 90-minute masterclass is aimed at small business leaders who want to develop an understanding of the newly introduced psychosocial risk regulations. You will develop an understanding of the implications and how you can take positive action to meet your company's needs. It includes reflective activities and the opportunity to experiment with practical activities shown to improve wellbeing.Â
Learning Outcomes:
- Understand psychosocial hazards and the protect, promote, respond framework.
- Gain skills to protect your workplace from these hazards.
- Reflect on your business values and your role in fostering wellbeing.
- Identify and address potential risks based on your values.
- Learn how to respond to psychosocial hazards in the workplace effectively.
- Practice wellbeing activities and learn to promote them in your workplace.
