Afternoon Creators at Ellis House
Event description
Afternoon Creators at Ellis House
Wednesdays | 3:30-4:30pm | Starting July 23
Ellis House Arts Centre, Bayswater
Let’s create outdoors!
A gentle, creative after-school session for children aged 4-7, held under the trees at Ellis House. Led by Erin, a primary school teacher, each week includes a nature walk, sensory activities and games. Plus collaborative and process art involving nature.
Over the 9-week term, children will contribute to an artwork for an end-of-term exhibition in the gallery.
This is a relaxed and unpressured space for kids to unwind, get messy, and connect after a busy day. Parents are asked to stay nearby. You can make a cuppa, enjoy the gallery, or join in the creativity. A kitchenette is available for tea, coffee, and a biscuit.
What to bring:
Afternoon tea (eat before or bring it along - no nuts please)
An art smock or oversized old t-shirt and clothes that can get dirty and paint on them. (I will have some spare just in case)
A water bottle
A hat
See you in the garden!
