AI for Volunteer Managers: Work Smarter, Save Time, Support More Volunteers

To celebrate International Volunteer Managers day, Aidan Morgan, Chief Engineering Officer from Bankwest will be facilitating a workshop on AI for Volunteer Managers. This practical workshop will help volunteer managers use AI as a smart support tool to save time, strengthen communications and bring more confidence to everyday volunteer-management tasks, while keeping people, privacy and good judgement at the centre.

This workshop is provided as part of Bankwest's skilled volunteering program and is intended to share practical knowledge and insights with the community sector. It is not formal training, accredited education, or professional certification

• AI demystified: what it is, what it can do and where to use caution

• Prompting made simple: ask better questions and get better outputs

• Volunteer recruitment made easier: role descriptions, adverts and callouts

• Clearer comms in less time: reminders, FAQs, induction notes and recognition messages

• Planning support at your fingertips: run sheets, checklists, training outlines and activity ideas

• Responsible use in the real world: privacy, bias, accuracy and safeguarding considerations
