An Introduction to Meditation and Movement for Health Improvement.
Come and join us for 2.5 hours on our Introduction to Meditation and Movement for Health Improvement. In this workshop, you will be introduced to the basic principles of Meditation and taught some basic techniques which will hopefully inspire you to start some regular Meditation practice.
You'll learn the WHAT, the WHY and the HOW of Meditation.
We will also be including some Restorative Yoga practices to support the relaxation response and give your nervous system some Rest and Relaxation.
And, I LOVE teaching about the Breath. Diaphragmatic Breathing is our bodies most efficient way of breathing, yet when we are stressed or tense we often breathe from our upper chest. If you've had chronic neck, shoulder or back issues and /or have periods of increased stress, then you may benefit from some training to assist you in improving your Breath efficiency.
Hand-outs will be supplied on the day.
No previous Yoga experience required.
