We’re excited to host our Annual Networking Forum on Friday, 14th March 2025, from 4:30pm in Sydney. This signature event, which has previously connected over 100 professionals, is an opportunity to network with members of The Multicultural Professional Network and a diverse range of guests. Join us for an inspiring evening of connection and collaboration. It’s a fantastic opportunity to expand your network and engage with professionals from various industries. - Arrival: From 4:30pm – Enjoy a selection of delectable canapés and beverages while networking with attendees from various industries before the evening’s presentations
- Presentation: 5:30pm-6:30pm – Join us for insightful presentations and a Q&A session
- Networking: Continue the conversation until 8:00pm

Guest Speaker
Sheetal Deo Founder and Principal Solicitor Shakti Legal Solutions, will lead a session on "The Intersection of Diversity and Leadership." In this session, she will explore how executive leadership can drive inclusive change by embracing diverse perspectives and creating a culture of belonging.
Sheetal Deo (She/Her) is passionate about leveraging platforms and privilege to connect ideas, people and opportunities which amplify and empower underrepresented experiences. Sheetal has a Bachelor of Arts degree in philosophy and political science from the University of the Fraser Valley (Canada), and a Juris Doctor, Master of Laws and Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from Bond University (Australia). Sheetal incorporates her political and social science training in her advocacy for equity & accessibility within the legal profession and the community it serves. Sheetal is the Principal and Founder of Shakti Legal Solutions; an innovative low-bono law firm designed specifically to improve access to legal assistance for everyday people through a unique, ‘pay what you can’ model.
Outside of her practice, Sheetal is a Queensland Law Society Councillor, works with the College of Law as an adjunct lecturer, runs a diversity and inclusion consultancy (The Diversity Collective) and volunteers her time on various not-for-profit organisations.
This event will be facilitated by Nora Fraser, Founder of The Multicultural Professional Network.
Nora Fraser (She/Her) is a Global People & Culture Leader and Social Entrepreneur with a career spanning top-tier organisations. She brings extensive experience from both the private and public sectors, having successfully led diversity and inclusion programmes for global corporations across Australia, Europe, and the UK.
Renowned for her tenacity, resilience, authenticity, and visionary thought leadership, Nora fearlessly challenges the status quo. Beyond her corporate contributions, she is a dedicated volunteer with several inclusion-focused organisations and serves as a mentor to many professionals, supporting the development of the next generation of leaders.
