Event description

This session forms part of the 2025 Australian Research Funding Landscape series of workshops.

This session presented by Dr Sabina Doldor, Business Research Engagement Associate (UTS Research Office) will provide an overview of research tenders, outlining their purpose and the benefits of applying for tenders. It will explore common challenges and pitfalls encountered in the tendering process and offer strategies for overcoming them. Participants will gain insights into how to prepare competitive applications and will be introduced to key resources and support available to assist with the tender application process.

Learning outcomes:

    (1) Key differences between research tenders and other types of funding (e.g. grants), 
    (2) Benefits and challenges of applying for research tenders 
    (3) Finding out about current opportunities and choosing suitable ones 
    (4) Developing competitive tender applications.
