Enjoy the ‘Celebrating NAIDOC Week Commissioning the Forecourt mosaic’ display in this free tour with Penelope Grist from the Art Collection team as your guide.
Learn about the art commissioning process undertaken during the building of Australian Parliament House and the paintings by five First Nations artists invited to submit designs for the Forecourt mosaic in 1985.
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander visitors are advised that this display features the names and images of deceased people.
