Art Fix at The Suter
10am | The Suter Art Gallery

Join us for Art Fix, a friendly and engaging morning led by Elizabeth Gould. We’ll begin with a meet and greet in the gallery foyer at 10am, before taking a guided walk through the gallery spaces, exploring highlights and sparking discussion along the way. The morning will wrap up with a relaxed coffee catch-up in The Suter Café.

This time, Elizabeth will guide visitors through Robyn Kahukiwa: Tohunga Mahi Toi, an exhibition celebrating one of Aotearoa’s most respected artists. Kahukiwa’s powerful paintings explore Māori identity, whakapapa, and the strength and stories of wāhine, opening pathways into mātauranga and intergenerational narratives that shape Aotearoa’s cultural landscape.

Together we’ll spend time with selected works from the exhibition, reflecting on Kahukiwa’s distinctive artistic voice and the enduring themes that run through her practice.

Afterwards, continue the conversation over coffee or tea in The Suter Café.
The talk is free — just pay for your own refreshments.
