Cost: $55 per person, per session 

Join Mandy Jay for a fun filled session of art therapy activities. Discover the benefits of creative expression on your physical, mental, & emotional well being.  Experiment with symbols, imagery, and the malleability of art materials to explore emotions and thoughts about self-identity.

Some of the most common benefits of adolescents engaging in art therapy include:

• Insight into the concept of self
• Coping methods
• Problem solving skills
• Developing new skills through creativity
• Non-verbal expression of feelings
• Non-judgmental therapeutic process
• More interesting activities then long form talk therapy
• Ability to strengthen bonds with peers through group work

The sessions will incorporate mindfulness, story-telling and goal setting using collage, clay, paint and pastels. Suitable for beginners – no art skills needed at all. 12 people maximum per group.

All materials are provided.  BYO snack or late lunch.  There is also a café onsite.
