Art Workshop: 3D Story Map of Fremantle (7 - 11's)
Event description
We're going to build a 3D map of Fremantle! Using wood, FIMO, paint, paper, cellophane, yarn and anything else we can rummage from our artist's shelves, we'll construct a 3D map of Fremantle. Each child will get a board to work on and will be encouraged to add their stories to our map. Will you find mermaids in the port? Has one of the port cranes turned into a giant giraffe?
We'll display our 3D map during the school holidays, after which each student will be welcome to collect and take home their piece.
This workshop is a blend of creative play and skill-building best for young artists aged 7 - 11.
To note:
The age range specified for this workshop has been carefully considered to ensure we can teach and take care of each student to the best of our ability. Please take care to make sure your child is the right age for this workshop.
Parents/guardians will be asked to sign children in upon arrival and provide a contact number for the day. Children must be picked up from the workshop by a parent/guardian.
Art making is messy! We recommend wearing old clothes you don't mind getting paint and glue on.
Snacks are welcomed, but please bring allergy-friendly foods.
