Event description

Inspired by our port city, we're going to construct a pop-up, search-and-find and lift-the-flap book of Fremantle! We'll learn different pop-up and lift-the-flap techniques in order to imagine our own scenes and stories. Perhaps you'll tell the story of the day the port cranes turned to giant giraffes? Or the story of how one intrepid swimmer met a mermaid in the harbour?

This workshop is a blend of creative play and skill-building best for young artists aged 7 - 11.

To note:

  • The age range specified for this workshop has been carefully considered to ensure we can teach and take care of each student to the best of our ability. Please take care to make sure your child is the right age for this workshop.

  • Parents/guardians will be asked to sign children in upon arrival and provide a contact number for the day. Children must be picked up from the workshop by a parent/guardian.

  • Art making is messy! We recommend wearing old clothes you don't mind getting paint and glue on.

  • Snacks are welcomed, but please bring allergy-friendly foods.
