Ascend Program With Communities at Work: Information sessions

This event has passed Register

Event description

Are you interested in a career in Early Childhood Education and Care? Communities at Work's Ascend Program may be the pathway for you!

Our Ascend Program is an industry-leading traineeship that enables selected candidates to earn while they learn. This means that Ascend trainees gain valuable paid work experience while completing a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (which is the minimum requirement to become an educator in the sector).

The information session will also give you a chance to ask any questions so you can make informed decisions regarding your options and career pathways.

It is mandatory to attend the Information Session to progress your application with our Ascend Program. Please select your preferred date and register at the earliest.

Please note that we will also be conducting a Language, Literacy & Numeracy Assessment (LLN) on the same day as the Information Session. You must pass the LLN if you wish to be considered for the program and start your application process. Applicants who do not pass the LLN on the day will be provided with an opportunity to re-sit on another date.

The Ascend Program is a sought-after unique program with limited places only. For more information on the LLN Assessment, the Ascend program application process, and what the program entails, please download the Ascend Program handbook on our website.
