Ashburton Domain Tour
Event description
Often in our busy lives, it's hard to stop to take notice of the beauty in the world around us. So here's your chance! Leave your phone and computer behind and head to the beautiful Ashburton Domain to stretch your legs, breathe in the fresh air and admire the emerging spring gardens.
Craig Paterson from the Ashburton District Council's Open Spaces Team will guide us on a lunchtime tour of the domain, explaining various features and pointing out hidden treasures.Â
The event is free and open to anyone. It will be suitable for those in mobility scooters/ wheelchairs. If the weather is dreary, we'll still go ahead, but if it is wet we may need to postpone.Â
Please register so we know how many to expect & can contact you in the case of postponement. We will start the tour from the top end of the main car park - look for the Keep Learning 'Event Here' sign.Â
This is one of five events Keep Learning Mid Canterbury is running focusing on the 5 Ways to Wellbeing, during Mental Health Awareness Week.
