Auckland Archi-Tours: AUT Tukutuku

Marking the first step in revitalising AUT’s North Campus, Tukutuku is a four-storey learning facility that forms the social and academic heart of the campus, anchored by a soaring timber atrium. Prioritising connectivity, sustainability and wellbeing, it is home to the Faculty of Health and Environmental Sciences and the School of Education. Tukutuku’s low carbon design halves embodied carbon and positions it to become New Zealand’s most efficiently heated and cooled tertiary education building – offering students a blueprint for creating a more sustainable future.
