Auslan Ceramics Art Club
Event description
Facilitated by Deaf ceramic artist Kirsty Collins, an Australian ceramics art club for the Deaf and HOH (hard-of-hearing) community at Kil.n.it. Have fun with clay and develop new techniques. Make new friends and connections. All skill levels are welcome. Practice at your own pace. Voice-off Auslan-only.
Featuring:
- Learn hand-building basics or develop your existing skills.
- Explore various pottery techniques to make unique and personalised ceramic pieces.
- Drop in for one evening or join us for several weeks.
- Our studio space includes hand-building clays, tools, equipment, basic glazes, and underglazes. Please note: firing is a small extra fee.
We meet on the 1st and 3rd Friday of the month.
Kil.n.it is @ 184 Glebe Point Road, Glebe. In the Old Nurses Quarters, entry via Wigram Lane.
