Auspire Citizen of the Year Award 2026 Nominations Open

Nominations are Open for the Citizen of the Year Award 2026

Every community has local heroes.

Auspire – Australia Day Council WA, Community Citizen of the Year Awards is your opportunity to acknowledge those making an outstanding contribution in our local community.

There are four award categories:
• Community Citizen of the Year
• Young Community Citizen of the Year (16 – 30 years of age)
• Senior Community Citizen of the Year (over 65 years of age)
• Active Citizenship – group or event

The recipients will have been judged to have met a number of criteria including significant contribution to building harmony and inclusion within the local community, leadership on a community issue resulting in the enhancement of community life, a significant initiative that has brought about positive change and added value to community life and inspiring qualities as a role model for the community.

Nominations close on 31 October. Awards will be presented at the Australia Day Citizenship Ceremony in January 2026.
