Omar will talk about his acclaimed novel Fierceland, as well as his other works including Here Come the Dogs, The Vape Lord of Queanbeyan, Parang and Millefiori. Hear about his creative journey, his connection to Queanbeyan and the stories behind his writing.

After the talk, Omar will also be awarding the winners of the Y-POP Awards (Young Poets of the Palerang), a local initiative from Collins Booksellers Queanbeyan created to celebrate the creativity of young poets aged 8–17.
