About the Class:

Join us for an interactive cooking class where we’ll delve into the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda. Learn about the Doshas and the power of cooking with the Six Rasas (sweet, sour, salty, bitter, pungent, and astringent). Together, we’ll co-create and enjoy a nourishing classic khichadi dish, perfect for detoxification and cell rejuvenation. Each guest will receive a container of khichadi to take home, along with valuable resources and the recipe.

    About the Instructor:
    Love, Vella - Ayurveda Healing With Heart is an authentic, nurturing, and empowering Aryuvedic Practitioner who integrates knowledge, intuition, and experience to help individuals achieve a healthful life. With a lifelong passion for cooking, she loves to prepare food, develop new products, and teach about food as a source of healing. She believes our diet is essential to achieving wholeness and cultivating conscious eating is a step everyone can take to improve their health.

    Love, Vella is on a mission to accomplish her soul work, spread knowledge about Ayurvedic healing, and guide others to discover self-love. She advocates for using diet to achieve health and wholeness and engages with her community to promote food equity and sustainable growing practices.

    About the Venue:

    Parking: Please note that MAP does not have a parking lot, but there is street parking available on Massachusetts Ave and side streets, on Shields and Brayton. We encourage arriving a little early to secure parking and ensure you are parked on the correct side of the street in accordance with parking regulations.
