BBBC & OCCA Community Butterfly Survey - Oxley Creek Common

Brisbane’s Big Butterfly Count and OCCA invite you to a family-friendly butterfly survey walk at Oxley Creek Common with local enthusiast, Cliff Meyer.
Join us for a relaxed two-hour walk as we explore the Common, catch butterflies, and learn about the fascinating species that call our local area home. This event is open to all ages and experience levels - everyone is welcome!
Please keep an eye on your email and our social media pages for any last-minute cancellations due to cloudy weather (Butterflies are not active when it is overcast).
Time: Meet 8:45am for 9am departure from outside the Red Shed, Oxley Common, Sherwood Rd, Rocklea. We will return around 11am.
What to bring: Please wear sun smart clothing and bring a water bottle. We have nets to borrow during the walk.
