Event description

Tee Vee Repairman (SYD)

Knee (BNE)

Cammy Cautious and The Wrestlers (SYD)

The Med Heads (NTL)

Meow Meow and the Smackouts (SYD)

Like goldilocks BDK have ventured boldly into the home of strangers, with conviction they’ve taken it upon themselves to sample the proverbial porridges of rock sat before them. First the Naarm rock porridge, hmmm... too cold!!  Second, they scoop optimistically into the bowl labelled Meanjin... TOO HOT!!! Blisters begin to form along the soft fleshy roof of their mouth as they reach hesitantly for the third bowl inscribed E O R A... With one swift gulp they swallow down a heaped spoonful of the sweet rock porridge... Ahhhh just right.

To miss a bill with this much heat would be a grave error. This being our first trip to Sydney we’ve made sure our itinerary is stacked with some of the best emerging and established rock the east coast has to offer.

Top of the pile being Sydney hit factory Tee Vee Repairmann. Coming off the back of a monumental main support for The Osees, QLD’s finest Knee will be making the trek down to permanently alter your brain chemistry. CCATW, the band that legitimised BDK as a concept will be there too, flaunting their wares and being generally great people to be around, as usual. The Med Heads, what would be a fair pitch for these freakishly talented gremlins? I dunno, but alls I’m saying is they are playing a big role in putting Newcastle on the map, and if you don’t start paying attention to wth is going on there you will soon be left behind. As for you Meow Meow and The Smackouts... GET OUT OF MY HEAD! If I hear one more catchy ass chorus or one more yummy ass guitar riff imma lose it!!!
