Event details:

It’s Australian Pollinator Week, and this is a time to celebrate the little things that matter.

Following the Women's wildflower walk in the morning at Peel Flora and Fauna Reserve, Central Tablelands Local Land Services is hosting a relaxed and engaging afternoon designed for women and children. Together, we’ll explore the world of native pollinators and their vital role in our ecosystems.

What’s on:

  • Presentation by native bee specialist, Megan Halcroft - discover what makes a bee a bee, why pollinators are so important for biodiversity and food security, and how you can support them.

  • Hands-on learning - identify native species and find out what makes a great bee hotel.

  • Light lunch included - a fun afternoon for women and children.

Additional details: Please bring a water bottle, magnifying glass or reading glasses and a mobile phone for images.
