No garden? No problem! Learn how to start a vegie patch in a straw bale!

Straw bale vegie gardens are perfect for people who:

Straw bale vegie gardening gives you:

Join us in this hands-on demonstration as Kylie shows us through the ins and outs of constructing and growing vegetables in straw bales.

demonstrate how to use home energy and water saving audit kits (can be borrowed from the library)
share how to access grants and rebates to make your house more energy efficient
discuss how much more efficient things like draught proofing, windows, insulation, heat pump hot water systems and split system units are
discuss the possibilities of moving away from gas

Natasha can also review your electricity bills, so bring them along and she will see if you could be getting a better deal.
